I was reading in the faq about a JWT fix for low boost or safety boost. I don't have any codes but boost does not come on quickly and only reaches about 7.5 lbs to 8 at over 5000 rpm. I am assuming that my solenoids are not functioning and all manifold pressure is going to my wastegate causing them to open earlier than they should with the wastegate solenoid bleeding pressure. My question now is what does this fix do, by grounding that pin am I effectively keeping the solenoids open permanently so they will constantly bleed pressure and not fluxuate? If anyone has done this, was it successful?
I am also going to check for boost leaks this Saturday just in case that could also be the problem. I also never hear my recirculation valves working no muffled pssssfffft when shifting. Thanks
